Version 12.4 contains several upgrades that will boost your simulation capabilities and improve your workflow. Below is a list of our top features to give you a taste of some of the advancements we have made. If you're interested in the updates we've made to CoTherm, you can jump to CoTherm's new features by clicking here.
|Transient cycles enabled for Battery Module
Predict how resistance and capacity change over the lifetime of a battery. These Battery Module enhancements give you the ability to model any charging scenarios or transient drive cycles using voltage control boundary conditions and transient restart.
|Mufflers included in Exhaust Tool
Mufflers are now one of the built-in components in the Exhaust Tool. Model the unique thermal effects of mufflers with your entire exhaust system.
|Visualize more with the Exhaust Tool
View selected components, sub-streams, and bounding parts in the graphics window. Model and analyze more sophisticated systems in a shorter amount of time, creating a more efficient process.
|Graphics Display performance improved
Set up large models and view results in less time thanks to improvements to the graphics display. Selecting single parts or elements on a large model is almost instantaneous.
|Human Thermal has its own GUI
The Human Thermal Module now has a user-friendly interface. Reduce set-up time and keep files organized in one location using the new GUI.
|Hybrid Parallel feature for Linux
The new Hybrid Parallel increases processing speed and reduces memory usage. Please note that this release is for Linux only.
|Scale imported CFD records
Reduce the number of CFD simulations and leverage existing data using the Independent CFD Scaling feature. You can read in several data sets and provide scale factors for both H & T. Also, you can alter the range, time, and weighting factor as the model progresses.
|Excel File Support
Read and export simulation data right from the CoTherm interface. Manage your experiment easily by linking your Excel data to your process using the curve variable.
|Python Library is more user-friendly
Python libraries can now be installed using Anaconda. We have also included the NumPy library to allow scientific computation via journal commands.
