| This model used weather
data from an early July day in the
northern midwest United States (47N,88W).
Over approximately 16 hours, the day
started with a clear, cool morning
sunrise, followed by varying cloudiness,
which can be recognized in the animations
as hot-cold variations of the exterior
surfaces. The floor temperature animation
shows effects of the mid-latitude solar
arc through the sky, captured through the
use of RadTherm's transparent part
definition for windows. The full effects
of multi-bounce solar and multi-bounce
thermal radiation are captured.
RadTherm's 3-layered parts
allows for siding, insulation and wall
coverings, as shown in the Construction
Materials page (the images are screen
shots from RadTherm).
