Customizable Coupling Workflow
Instead of working with complicated scripts, CoTherm lets you construct complex CAE coupling processes with an intuitive user interface. Customize your coupling workflow within the GUI, making it as simple or as complicated as you like.  Create a completely automated process using the GUI by combining generic and process-specific tasks.

Reusable Workflow
The modular design of CoTherm makes it easy for a process to be built once and re-used for many different products and scenarios.  Change only the resources that represent the current case of interest, which yields rapid analysis turn around.

Coupling with Fluent
Couple with Fluent to execute a fluid flow simulation within a process. Surface temperatures can be mapped onto Fluent boundaries and a simulation can be run to export convective heat transfer coefficients and fluid temperatures.

Coupling with Star-CCM+
Specify a Star-CCM+ tool to execute a fluid flow simulation within a process. Surface temperatures can be mapped onto Star-CCM+ boundaries and a simulation can be run to export convective heat transfer coefficients and fluid temperatures.

Coupling with TAITherm
CoTherm was made to couple with TAITherm. Together, these programs allow you to execute a thermal analysis within a process. Specify part faces, assemblies and CFD model boundaries within a TAITherm model. Setup a task to import heat transfer coefficients and fluid temperatures. Tasks can also be created to export thermal results from TAITherm into an EnSight case file.

Detailed Monitoring
Detailed monitoring allows you to interpret results and changing variables in real time using color-coded heat maps and graphs. These detailed results will allow you to visualize your data so you can make actionable decisions to improve your design.

Run with Interactive or Batch Mode
Build your workflow and run within the GUI or use the command line in batch mode. Both are available to use within CoTherm depending on your preference.

API
CoTherm is a powerful program that can be personalized to your needs. The customizable API allows you to create your own process. For example, it can be used to support proprietary in-house software packages which need special interfaces.
