What is included with the demo software?
The ThermoAnalytics demo software consists of the full code with a node-count limited license. The software has all functions fully enabled and can open and view models of any size. The demo license allows the software to run and save models up to 300 thermal nodes (typically 150 element resolution). Note that sample models of much higher resolution are included with the installation and can be opened, viewed, or animated, but cannot be run or saved.
To evaluate the software at full resolution, contact our sales team for an evaluation license. You will not need to reinstall the software but only to receive an evaluation license by email that expires after 30 days. If you have any question about this, please contact sales@thermoanalytics.com.
Need answers to thermal management problems?
Many of our customers arrive at this page with the need for thermal analysis. But unless your team already works extensively with analytical software, the fastest way to answer your question may be to contact our engineering services team. Our world-class engineering department can:
- Convert your geometry to a well-ordered surface mesh.
- Set up appropriate materials, thicknesses, and environmental inputs.
- Create boundary conditions for: convection inputs, thermocouple curves, or imposed heat rates.
- Run the analysis on high end workstations and post-process the results.
- Deliver an optional engineering report with recommended techniques for heat management.
- Help you modify the model to test design changes.
You can also work through the above steps on your own, but for many of our customers, the engineering services approach delivers fast answers and a comprehensive introduction to thermal analysis methods and procedures. All information is kept strictly confidential, and the work is performed by highly experienced research engineers.
