New Features in Software Version 9.1
Multiple Human Support in Human Comfort Module
The Human Comfort Module supports multiple human subjects to deliver very realistic thermal solutions. The thermal load of human metabolism can now be accurately predicted for several humans occupying a building or vehicle, while concurrently simulating the comfort of each manikin.
Thermal Image Mapping Using Grayscale Texture Maps
Users can now use grayscale images as texture maps to define the temperature profile of parts. The images can be generated by a thermal imager or generated synthetically using an algorithm or a photo editor. Simple text files can also be used to define the temperature profile, giving engineers a wide range of input options.
BRDF Multiple Batch Mode
Users can now execute multiple BRDF renderings in batch mode using a single BRDF configuration file that can have multiple timesteps, sensor azimuths, sensor elevations, ranges to sensor, radiance bands. (For MuSES and RadThermIR only.)
Increased BRDF Output Options
Users have the option to view the BRDF output file that is generated after running a BRDF calculation in batch mode. This will allow users to view increased heading data within a text file for additional calculations to be made. (For MuSES and RadThermIR only.)
Import/Export BRDF Configuration
MuSES Pro can now import and export a BRDF configuration file from a previous session with saved settings. This will enable faster setup of BRDF batch runs using configuration files and the ability to setup or modify ranges of input parameters outside of the GUI. (For MuSES and RadThermIR only.)
