Reduce Development Time
CFD Analysis can be tedious and time consuming. With the inclusion of radiation exchange, model setup can be confusing and solution times can increase by orders of magnitude. This is not the case with RadTherm. TAI utilizes a state-of-the-art voxel-based ray tracer to compute radiation view factors and solar projected (apparent) areas. With RadTherm, you have the fastest radiation exchange solver on the market coupled to your CFD code.

You can input steady state data from Fluent or Star-CD directly into TAI's RadTherm software as NASTRAN or PATRAN file formats. Your data can also be imported to our Mesh Mapper software, and the high density CFD results automatically mapped onto a lower density mesh, yielding the fastest thermal solutions available.

RadTherm gives you accelerated results of multi-modal heat exchange throughout thermal systems. Your product or system design changes can be made directly in the graphical user interface (GUI) to alter physical properties, material thickness, or surface conditions. With RadTherm you gain thermal solutions many times faster than with Fluent or Star-CD alone, and model setups or changes are rapid and intuitive.

Increase Accuracy
TAI Software offers your team realistic environments. Our terrain model incorporates the full effects of solar shadowing, multiple reflections, and reradiation of geometric features (e.g., radiation exchange between vehicle exhaust systems and asphalt road surfaces). TAI software’s predictions have been thoroughly validated by third party measurements of operating vehicle systems and against theoretical solutions. Evaluate Designs Rapidly
RadTherm provides you with a built-in convection library. Many automotive companies perform several design iterations using our built-in wind convection model prior to starting a fully integrated CFD - RadTherm simulation. Answer your "What if" design questions quickly and with minimal effort by altering the model parameters in the GUI, and rerunning. The model view factor calculations are stored for you and reused, saving time and bringing your products to market faster.
