Automotive Systems

ThermoAnalytics provides advanced engineering services for the thermal design of automotive systems.

Our team of research engineers serves automotive, truck, and off-highway OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. We analyze system-level thermal management, analyze brake systems, and design for heat shields, electronics cooling, HVAC, and human thermal comfort.

Learn more about Automotive Systems

Comprehensive Vehicle Simulation

ThermoAnalytics provides comprehensive thermal and infrared analysis of full vehicle systems operating in realistic environments. Our engineers support you in planning the simulation approach, collecting boundary conditions and system parameters, and choosing the best technologies to simulate your vehicle.

Commercial Vehicles

ThermoAnalytics provides both component-level and system-level analysis. From a quick study of a particular part or assembly to a full system analysis of an HVAC system or vehicle underhood flow, our experience and efficiency are leveraged to a cost-effective solution for your team.

Exhaust Systems

ThermoAnalytics' engineering team includes experts from within the automotive industry that have many years of experience developing solutions to exhaust heat transfer problems. From optimized heat shield design to full-vehicle simulations...

Heat Shields

ThermoAnalytics' engineering team accurately simulates and analyzes heat shields. Using our RadTherm software, our team can simulate your shielding methods and quickly provide initial results on your baseline design.

Brakes and Clutches

Our engineers use our industry-leading RadTherm software to capture all modes of heat transfer from a system: radiation, conduction and convection. ThermoAnalytics has supported validated simulations of vehicle brakes and clutches, including comparing them against dynamometer-driven systems and thermocouple measurements.
